SEO copywriting has opened the door to near-limitless opportunities for me — both personally and professionally.
It’s no secret that “starting your own business” has been a trending topic in the past few years, and I am proud to say I actually drank the Kool-Aid.
There are many get-rich-quick schemes out there but becoming an SEO content writer is 100% genuine, lucrative, and relatively simple, even with ZERO experience.
I’m happy to share my tips for getting started so you can start your own SEO content business, market yourself effectively, set your rates, and become a highly paid content writer.
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted many areas of life for people across the globe. From job loss to loss of loved ones to canceled travel plans, this year has brought with it much heartache, dysregulation, and even trauma.
But for those recovering from childhood trauma, such as abuse or neglect, the social isolation that has come with COVID-19 stay-at-home orders and the like, being separated from our support systems and usual coping mechanisms can feel like life or death. What do you do when you feel like you’re already hanging on by a thread and then that thread snaps?
As a struggling ambivert, I often teeter between the desire to be completely surrounded by people and the desire for people to leave me the absolute f* alone.
It’s a delicate balance sometimes, because being around people for too long often makes me want to crawl into a blanket-cocoon, while other times I become practically sick with loneliness.
So when the news erupted over the spread of the coronavirus and the necessity to practice “social distancing”, I wasn’t exactly celebrating with the introverts nor was I sobbing with the extroverts.
But, being told that you HAVE to distance yourself from…
How to ditch the discomfort of being alone and step into your own strength.
In my “research” (aka “Google rabbit hole”) of trying to figure out “how to overcome depression”, I found one tip in common between most of the articles:
“Talk to someone”.
The advice of these articles was to push yourself to talk about your depression, not keep it to yourself, and not let the shame make you retreat into silence.
This is usually accompanied by statements like “You don’t have to do it alone” or “Reach out to your support system”; advice that speaks to people who…
When Kim Kardashian was spotted on the cover of Paper Magazine, the media was in an absolute frenzy.
“Kim K breaks the internet!”
“#BreaktheInternet on Twitter!”
“Kim Kardashian did WHAT?”
Fans and haters alike were ALL OVER this story- sharing opinion pieces, memes, gifs, and all kinds of juicy content around this scandalous magazine cover.
While Kimmy is known for her attention-grabbing selfies and otherwise newsworthy antics, this story, in particular, will likely go down in history as one of her most “trending” pop culture busts of all time.
Though Kim Kardashian may not be the content queen anyone asked…
“She will set you free… Free from the past. Free from expectations. Free from judgement. She will see what lies the deepest in your soul and pull it to the surface. No stone left unturned. In that mess, she sees beauty, intrigue, and the potential to start anew. It’s up to you to decide if it is worth the chase.”
The lust in her being runs deep. A thirst for moving, making, and thinking that can’t be satisfied by the mundane. Like a drug, it beckons. She’s addicted to the unknown. It’s a secret she wants to uncover for herself.
Kylie Jenner’s cover on Forbes has ruffled a few feathers.
Whether you love the Kardashian clan, loathe them, or simply tolerate them, it is likely that you have *some* opinion about Kylie Jenner being featured on Forbes as one of the top “self-made billionaires”.
The article linked above is a prime example of how people have been up in arms over the feature, declaring that Kylie is not, in fact, self-made, given how much of what she has was handed to her on a silver platter. …
Last year, the well-known business magazine, Entrepreneur, published an op-ed titled, “Sorry, Millennials- You Are Not Entrepreneurs”. And, if you are a millennial entrepreneur yourself, you are likely cringing as hard as we are.
The main takeaway from this article is that there is an entrepreneurial game to be played and that millennials simply don’t know the rules. That is, we don’t have an understanding of basic business concepts, and are lacking the skills to create and sustain our own business. le sigh. 😑
We stumbled across this post upon a quick Google search of the term “millennial entrepreneurs” and…

If you are a blogger, a small business owner, or a digital marketer, it is likely you have heard the term “SEO” tossed around when it comes to managing your website. Perhaps you are struggling to bring in organic traffic and leads, but are looking for a DIY approach to getting your site to rank.
The good news is that you don’t need to hire an SEO specialist in order to start seeing results. There are…
Ever since first becoming aware of my status as a “Millennial”, I have fell witness to this strange social dichotomy between Millennials being seen as unapologetically Lazy, and incredibly Savvy — particularly in tech and social media.
Countless articles have come out to describe how Millennials are “ruining” a vast variety of industries — from paper napkins, to housing, to avocado toast. They peg our generation as not caring about anything besides ourselves, and not contributing enough to the marketplace.
The irony in all of this is that these same media sources and companies work tirelessly to market their products…
